When we were in Chianti, Tony Sasa gave us some bottles that were really a gift from Paolo Caciorgna, the oenologist at Le Fonti and a number of other wineries all over Italy. One bottle was a Soave, Le Strele, that surprised us with its character and balance. If you like Pieropan, and what's not to like, you'll love Le Strele.
