O sure, at least 3-4!
So, GPP, when are you hiring him?

Why I have the impression that you have feelings for Mr. Ferrini?
What was love at first sight????

No that honour was reserved for you, G. Tosti di Valminuta.
You are soooo funny, whippersnapper.

this guy's an amateur compared to the esteemed Michel Rolland

Jokes apart, let me say that Ferrini is one of the best wine consultant. First of all he is an agronomist, before being an enologist, and that is very important because gives to him a deeper knowledge of the vineyards than your average enologist. Beside that I like that is always very discrete, never too much on the scene. His wines are very good, even though some people tend to find them too much similar to one another.

Jokes aside -- most at my expense, by the way -- I would agree that he is very good. I know that he is quite well respected. As to the wines tasting too much alike, that's often the rap the consulting winemakers get...sometimes deserved, sometimes not.
BTW, good luck next week in New York. It looks like a great event, and I wish I could attend. Can't wait to read about it on your blog.

I bought a case of Tasca D'Almerita's Lamuri Nero'D'Avola today after buying a bottle in the city over the weekend. Mr. Ferrini must be doing something right at Tasca D'Almerita despite the possible erotic tinges of the name of the wine.
