Couldn't resist calling up John McCain's former mantra of being for 5.5 years a POW in Vietnam. It seems so long ago. Not only that he went through that form of hell so terribly long ago, but that, for decades, he was able to trot it out at every opportunity to burnish his "hero's" record for a respectful American crowd. Ah! but that was then.
Actually, I really don't care about McCain and his nasty campaign. He's done.
What I care about, as always, is ME. For yesterday, October 9 (Yom Kippur), was the third anniversary of my first post. Almost at 1000 now, which is a real milestone, I think. By the way, if you make the cheap leap from the Day of Atonement to reading my blog, I'll send Sarah Palin over to tell the neighbors that you too like palling around with terrorists.
Let's clink glasses and see what the next three years have in store, shall we?
Before I was Strappo. I am verily new & improved and blogging has changed everything.

three years! wow, congratulations ... and you still haul yourself to the keyboard and tap out the messages to humanity.
