Grim, unrelentingly horrific news. The World As We Know It is ending. Ladeedah
To end a day of pain and frustration on many fronts I have taken refuge in (gasp) alcohol. There was a cheap but pretty good Cotes du Rhone wine (too lazy to insert circumflexes, so like sue me)...and some ultra-tangy Kiwi Savvy Blanc...and a bit of Grey Goose and fresh lime, just to finish me off in my misery...
Wow. I haven't done a drunken rant on this site in a while. No dancing on the edge. No scurrilous obscenities. I've been putting them all on wonkette, which is unmoderated and a bastion of 1st Amendment freedom. Huzzah wonkette!
Feh! Enough of this self-censorship and uncharacteristic reticence!
Oh shit, let's accentuate the positive:
1. After a leaking air conditioner ruined the floor and the carpets, the carpets came back looking brillliant. Je suis content!
2. I sent many painful emails and a couple came back filled with love & affection.
3. Latest polls show Barry 49% to 40% against Uncle Grumpy. Je suis content.
4. Sarah Palin continues to self-destruct. Her utter cluelessness continues on display even on the softball Katie "I'm so fucking cute" Couric. (PS--they are both rather loathsome, don't you think?)
You notice nothing was really about vino? Good. It's been one of those days.
A domani.

Oh Maestro Strappo! Eat something for heaven's sake!
And Katie Couric has the best looking pins in the biz......-J

Bah! She's a turd! And I had pizza for supper. I may be a turd but I don't get paid zillions of dollars to be one.
(Jealousy.)
BTW, Palin does have sweet jugs. Mentioned as a disinterested old fruit.

Oh btw the Senate just passed that bill of Emotional Rescue to the tune of $850b or so. With plenty of tax cuts for da Distressed Gentlefolk. All is right wit da world.

Oh wait, John Hughes, it's our father's birthday! October 1. I loved/hated the violent bastard.
Christ. My Issues are on display.
Yeah well. Dancing on the edge, eh?

Strapp,
I never knew when the old bastard was hatched. Didn't know him, you know. Got a great shot of Mum & Da from their wedding. Interested?
Your little bro,
John
