Amy Lillard, whose blog has long been a favorite of those desiring to live the life of a winemaker, vicariously and without all the bother and heartbreak and investments, is coming to New York next week. I'm very eager to meet her and -- I hope -- to taste her wine at last.
She and husband Matt are Americans who have devoted themselves to La Gramière for at least four years now, and her blog, in English and sometimes in French, tells you what it's really like to live the dream of making wine in the gorgeous Uzès area of the Rhone valley: very hard. Very rewarding, mostly.
Come on, Amy, operators are standing by!
Amy, lady of leisure

Salutami Amy, uncle Terry!
She is a very, very nice girl and a very, very pleasant company!
