A Public Service Post about Mankind's Latest Fear Factor
It seems that the mysterious "wine flu" has raised fears around the world. I'm flooded with searches from New Zealand, Mexico, England, China and right here at home. And it seems that everyone wants more information about this wine flu. Some perspicacious searchers have googled complete questions to which I have no answers (I am not an epidemiologist, let alone a pandemiologist). But I thought I'd share them with you in case you, educated, intelligent readers, might be able to respond in a helpful kindly way.
I'm not sure. It might have had something to do with bad corks.

Now I know why I had the foggy headed feeling while I was up north...... Here I thought it was that no one would let me stay sober for more then 6 hrs.... but no. It was the wine flu( maybe the beer and martini flu as well).
I had a wonderful time seeing old and new friends, family. Ate some great food and was pleasantly surprised that there are many BYOB of wine restaurants in Jersey! And because of the big juice of a life long friend got out of a ticket What a country!
TH about that wine flu.....I'm thinking some hair of the dog,so to speak.
Ciao

Thom, I'd say drinking a modest amount of red wine would lift anybody's spirits when they're sick with a respiratory illness.
BYOB is the thing in NJ because they dole out very few liquor licenses there, so mostly you're forced to buy your vino at an off-premise location, which is good for retailers and very very bad for the restaurateurs.
